The Payments Workstation is a state-of-the-art, multi-platform system developed using internet technology and the Java™ programming environment. The Workstation software uses a web browser as the host for its user interface and incorporates some of the latest internet technology available. It can be incorporated into a variety of hardware and network configurations, from single-user desk-top systems to multi-user workservers or gateway stations.

The Payments Workstation provides base functionality for payment origination, approval, and monitoring, file processing and control, and provides a strong communications environment for both import/export of data internally and secure delivery to/from external services.

Built upon the workstation's core functionality, a set of application-specific frameworks provides full support for standard payment and message formats for SWIFT, ACH, Edifact and more.

The Payments Workstation can be easily configured and further customized for a variety of business solutions ranging from "thin client" stations in a layered network environment, to departmental workstations or services. Payment applications supported include workstations to existing payments systems, electronic banking workstations, departmental payments systems and payments workstations for national and international clearing and settlement services.
