March 4th, 2013 – The Banco Central de Honduras went LIVE with the Montran multi-currency RTGS solution. The BCH-TR (Banco Central de Honduras en Tiempo Real) is replacing the high-value manual payment processing previously performed by BCH. The BCH-TR is a Y-COPY RTGS hybrid allowing Participants with or without established SWIFT connections to settle high value payments in real time. The RTGS solution also integrates automated processing of transactions for the two national clearinghouses of Honduras, fiscal entities, cash management, and the national currency trading system.
March, 2013 – The Imágenes Computarizadas de Guatemala S.A. together with Montran have begun the implementation of a Montran multi-currency ACH solution to replace the existing Guatemalan electronic transfer ACH (CCA) as part of a national initiative to standardize the IBAN account number. This ACH implementation is an end-to-end solution providing participant services for client data entry and file translation to NACHAM format, with an automated interface to the Montran RTGS in the central bank of Guatemala.
