PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Join our team in building and optimizing the infrastructure that powers Montran’s financial products. As we modernize our technology stack, you’ll play a key role in ensuring seamless deployment, scalability, and reliability. This goes beyond automation—you’ll help design a resilient framework that supports diverse client needs while maintaining platform stability.

In this role, you’ll develop and manage a robust, service-oriented architecture that enables efficient deployments and system performance. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, and backend engineers to streamline CI/CD pipelines, enhance system monitoring, and support the transition to modern, cloud-ready infrastructure.

You’ll propose and implement solutions in close coordination with fellow developers and product stakeholders to align with our overall vision. We value open communication, mutual support, and building scalable, client-focused outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software releases.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure.
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability.
• Enforce security best practices, manage access controls, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Automate repetitive tasks and workflows using scripting languages.
• Work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to diagnose and resolve infrastructure or deployment issues quickly.

REQUIREMENTS:

Skills and knowledge:

• Experience with relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Managing and deploying Java applications with Spring and Java EE on application servers like WebSphere or JBoss.
• Hosting and maintaining microservices following service-oriented architecture principles.
• Proficiency in Linux (RedHat preferred) and Windows environments.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, subnets, routing, firewalls, load balancers).
• Familiarity with PKI principles, including digital certificates and certificate authorities.
• Knowledge of SSL/TLS and secure communication protocols.
• Scripting experience with Bash (Python is a plus).
• Experience with Docker for containerization.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab, including CI/CD pipeline creation.
• Understanding of security best practices for Linux and Windows systems.
• Knowledge of Ansible is a plus.
• Ability to manage infrastructure in non-cloud environments.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Effective team player with strong collaboration skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in technical domain.

Experience:

• 3+ years of professional experience as a DevOps
• Agile methodologies experience is a plus.
